Praveen Nettaru murder case, arrest of two accused

Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru in the coast.

The arrested have been identified as Zakir Mohammad Savanur and Shafiq Bellare. Zakir (29) and Shafiq (27) from Savanur are the arrested accused from Bellare. Zakir Savanur is SDPI village committee leader and Shafiq is an active worker of SDPI party. He was doing party organization in Bellare, Sulya.

Shafiq of Bellare Environment had given information about Praveen Nettar. Later, SP Rishikesh Sonanawan informed that Zakir of Savanur environment and his team were killed.

Considering the evidence found in the preliminary investigation, we have arrested two people. The case needs further investigation. We will produce the accused before the court. Dakshina Kannada District Superintendent of Police Rishikesh Sonana said that only this can be said as the case is under investigation.
